CCS students win First Place in PSITE Research Symposium

Student researchers from the College of Computer Studies – Valenzuela City Campus won 1st Place in the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) – National Capital Region (NCR) Research Symposium held last March 16, 2018 at the University of Santo Tomas

 

Different researchers from various member institutions of the PSITE–NCR presented their technologically – related researches to industry partners and academicians. Such researches were grouped into three categories namely: Computer Science (CS), Information Technology/Information Systems (IT/IS), and Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (EMC).

 

 

OLFU CCS students - Mr. Jam Christian Torres and Mr. Prince Carl Villarama – presented their research titled “Project Amihan: An Online Air Monitoring System along Selected Areas of McArthur Highway” fortunately rose above the ranks to the top 3 researches. Their tandem also impressed the industry judges that led to Project Amihan’s winning First Place in the the PSITE – NCR Research Symposium in the IT/IS Category.
