3 OLFU Campuses named as Top Performing Schools by PRC

The College of Medical Laboratory Science (CMLS) of Our Lady of Fatima University in Antipolo City, Quezon City and Valenzuela City  Campuses ranked sixth, eight and ninth respectively, as the Top Performing School in the March 2016 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination as recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).  This is the first time that three OLFU campuses were recognized by PRC as Top Performing Schools in one board examination.


Among the 95 universities and colleges nationwide, OLFU Antipolo City Campus was recognized as Top 6 with a passing mark of 92.45% while Quezon City landed to the Top 8 and Valenzuela City Campuses as Top 9 with a passing score of 86.45% and 86.47%, respectively.  Forty nine out of 53 graduates in Antipolo City passed the examination, whereas, 45 out 52 in Quezon City Campus and 147 out 170 in Valenzuela City Campus passed also the board examination.


The Top Performing Schools were recognized by its performance with 50 or more examinees and with at least an 80% passing percentage. 


Meanwhile, a graduate of CMLS Quezon City Campus is the newest topnotcher of the college.  Mr. Charle’s U. Arconado landed as Top 9 with a passing mark of 88.70%.  Currently, the college has already produced five (5) topnotchers from this licensure examination.


The whole OLFU community would like to congratulate CMLS headed by its College Dean, Dr. Jose Jurel Nuevo, Mr. Arconado, all the board passers and the faculty members for the excellent performance in this board examination.
