Student Financial Services department (SFS) is a university wide department that focuses on all matters regarding student accounts. It’s main objective is to properly handle the student database and ensure that each student ledger is up-to-date.
Aside from database management, SFS also handles the University’s scholarships, fellowships, financial grants, and financial aid. Together with the registrar department and the colleges, SFS aims to provide the right financial support, whether merit or needs based.
The department started as an accounting office that was in charge of student payments, through the years, it has grown to include the rest of its services and even manages outside payment channels with partner banks, online payment portals, and other cash management institutions.
