OLFU Dominates Feb 2011 Physician's Licensure Exam

Home of the topnotchers, Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has yet again made its mark in the February 2011 Physician Licensure Examinations by dominating half of the list of top ten board passers. 

Jovith Royales placed 2nd with 86.25 %, Elton Po in 3rd place- 85.58%, Kenneth Yabut was 4th place- 85.50%, Joanna Co placed 7th place with 84.83%, and Shella Ong grabbed 9th place with an average score of 84.50%

The examinations were given by the Board of Medicine in Cebu and Manila and out of 1, 230, 77% or 655 passed according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) The oath taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be held before the Board on March 14, 2011 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Roxas Blvd., Manila.

OLFU was granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its “accomplishment, adherence to quality assurance, and commitment to public responsibility and accountability as a higher education institution." OLFU has been producing topnotchers in the area of Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Medical Laboratory Science.
