The Provincial Government of Bulacan, through Government Resolution 139-T19, hails OLFU’s Dr. Michael Joseph Diño as a Gintong Kabataan (Golden Youth) Professional Worker Awardee 2019. Dr. Diño, who is OLFU’s Director for the Research Innovation and Development Center, is cited for outstanding work in research, technology and the academe.

The ceremonial rites took place at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan, Convention Center.

According to its web page (https://www.bulacan.gov.ph/gka/home.php), the Gintong Kabataan Awards is an annual event that gives praise to Bulakeño Youth who have demonstrated excellence in their field of practice. The award was initiated by the Provincial Government of Bulacan, through the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office.

The awardees are recognized for their distinctive profiles and contributions to society, and for serving as role models of the youth; quite deserving to be renown nationally and internationally.

Aside from the Professional Worker category that Dr. Diño was recognized for, Gintong Kabataan also honors excellence in the following fields: Academics & Science (for High School and College students), Arts & Culture (individual and group), Entrepreneurship, Public Service (individual and group), Employee (professional worker, skilled worker, government employee), Sports (individual and group), and Heroic Works.

The OLFU Community congratulates Dr. Michael Joseph Diño who is not just the toast of his University and of Bulacan, but the toast of the country and the world.
