Through efforts between the Our Lady of Fatima University-College of Medicine Alumni Association and the Alumni Affairs Office, five Medicine students were awarded Book Aid Grants on 11 October 2019 at the RISE Tower, Valenzuela Campus. The recipients were Victoria Mae Gigante, Aura Joyce Soro, Dennis Barce, Angelika Mae Reyes and Crystal Anne Aquino. With medical books high-priced as they are, the P10,000 subsidy will certainly help defray the costs a student and his/ her family would normally have to shoulder.
Present were Dr. Jose Arnel Manalili, President of the OLFU College of Medicine Alumni Association; Mr. Robert Bjorn Santos, Director of the Alumni Affairs Office, and Dr. Mylene Abad Santos, Vice President for Student Affairs. Also in attendance were Dr. Fe Bartolome, Dr. Chona Araga, Dr. Janetth Serrano, Dr. Emma Concepcion Miranda, Dr. Megan Clarissa Pantig and Dr. Harold Iturralde.
