It was a quick three weeks of fun and learning for nine (9) exchange students from South Korea’s Ulsan College as they sought to complete their practicum at Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), embracing the Filipino’s signature hospitality and culture as they did so. This is the third batch of exchange students from Ulsan College who have gone to OLFU for internship.

In a ceremony led by the Center for Professional Development and Academic Partnership (CPDAP) manager, Dr. Rodehlia Macaspac, the exchange students from the Colleges of Physical Therapy and Nursing received their certificates of attendance as well as tokens of appreciation from their respective college administrators.

Physical Therapy students Choi Ha Eun, Choi Ji Min, Kang Dong Guen, Kim Yu Rim and Nursing students Choi Hyun Ji, Hong Bi, Hwang Bo Eun, Lee Chang Yeop and Lee Soo Yeon were all smiles as they watched a video presentation about their internship life at OLFU.  They said they hope to be back soon.

“Thank you for teaching and loving us. I learned a lot of physical therapy, I will come back when I can please don’t forget me,” Kim Yu Rim said.

Also present during the closing program were Jabez International Inc. representative John Park,  Lasallian Language Center representative Ryan Yoo, OLFU Physical Therapy’s Dean Mary Ann Santos, Research Development and Innovation Center Director Michael Diño, and program heads Maritoni Pablo (Physical Therapy) and Dr. Potenciana Maroma (Nursing).
