Fatima lands solid kicks at Karatedo Championship

Congratulations to the students from Our Lady of Fatima University Shotokan Karate-do Club (OLFU-SKC) for winning Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals after competing against 20 other karate clubs from different regions of the country in the National Open and Age Group Karatedo Championship held at the LLC Gym, Calamba Elementary School.


Cheers to Bronze Medalists Maria Lourdes Dela Trinidad who joined in the 16-17 years old Novice Kata category, and Lloyd Christian Vasquez for the 18 years old and above Men’s Kumite category; Silver Medalists Edna Roldan who participated in the 18 years old and above Novice Kata category, and Shawn Pasco for the 18 years old and above Men’s Kumite category; and to Gold Medalists Nicole Ann Hiponia who competed in the 18 years old and above Intermediate Kata category, and April Rose Alcoba for the 18 years old and above Women’s Kumite category.

OLFU-SKC Adviser, Sensei Alberto M. Alvarez, was present at the competition to coach and support the club members.
