Responding to the advancements in technology and the growing needs and demands of the young students in the CaMaNaVa area for specialized learning in the areas of Information Technology and Computer Science, Our Lady of Fatima University ventured into the College of Computer Studies in 1996.

There was no turning back from that point on as the College’s enrollment continued to grow over the years.  OLFU invested in modern equipments, classrooms, technical laboratories and instructors who will provide the optimum learning experience possible to its students.  Today, the curriculum is designed to train students in software and system development and allows them the opportunity to process and try different approaches in developing programs.



PROGRAM OFFERINGS

BS COMPUTER SCIENCE (4 year course)

The study of concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, implementation and application of information and computing solutions

Graduates can be: Application Developers, Computer Science Instructors, Database Programmer/Designer, Information Security Engineer, System Analyst/Developer, Researcher

BS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (4 year course)

The study of utilization of computers and computer software to plan, install, customize, operate, manage, administer and maintain information technology infrastructure.

Graduates can be: Applications Developers, Database Administrator, Entrepreneur in the IT Industry, Network Administrator/Engineer, System Analyst

CERTIFICATE COURSE ON INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) (2 year course)

Learn the basics in the utilization of computers and computer software.
Students of this course earn unit credits for their subjects which is ladderized to the BS Computer Science or BS Information Technology Courses should they decide to further their education after the course.

 Graduates can be: Office Assistants, Data Encoders, Junior Programmers, BPO Agents/ Call Center Specialists
