College of Business and Accountancy

The College of Business Administration started operations in June 2003 with two (2) course program namely: Bachelor of Science in Commerce (BSC) Major in Marketing and Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Business Management focusing on Operation Management and Supply Chain Management..  These CBA academic programs were initially launched by OLFU Graduate School with an initial 15 students in a class. The college was housed in Graduate School Building in the main campus of the University.

As the student population started to increase, the College was transferred to San Vicente Building also located in the main campus, from 2003 to the present the CBA student population have increased as of the first semester of AY 2010-2011. The administration wholeheartedly supported the growth of the program in which the college was moved to the newly constructed Padre Pio Building at Serrano St as its new location site.

The college operations have continuously maintained the practicum as an academic requirement to provide CBA students the appropriate hands-on learning exposure with business and industry as well as governmental agency. In  2007, the college has its seven (7) first batch of graduates in March and October with one graduating as Cum Laude that showcase the hard work and dedication of CBA faculty during those years.

It was in 2009 that the college was then integrated with College of Hospitality and Institutional Management (CHIM) where the University’s full support of its operation was further given through provision of new facilities, and equipment to upgrade the college learning environment.

The college was awarded government recognition to offer Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in AY 2007-2008 by GR  No. 55, Series of 2007 while the previous courses Bachelor of Science in Commerce received its government recognition under GP (CHED-NCR) No. C. 117, Series of 2006.

CBA molds students into graduates that are ever present in the business and economic sectors of the community as seen in the chart below:
