College of Physical Therapy QC wins Best Informercial in PPTA Convention

Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) College of Physical Therapy (PT) Quezon City Campus recently won the Best Infomercial Entry in the Annual Convention of the Philippine Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) held at the Traders Hotel in Pasay City.
Jake Pablito Lusabe II, Kenneth Ralph Suba, Niño Rey, Harseval Cezar, and Julie Mae Jacobe, fourth year PT students, prepared the entry with their adviser Mr. Jowil Anton Deray. The competition which was launched weeks before the convention had the theme “Proud to be Pinoy PT Student”.
The documentary video features the students’ community-based rehabilitation in Maligaya Park Subdivision, Quezon City. It highlights the distinctive characteristics of Filipino PT students and also includes PT alumni of the University who are now based in the different parts of the world.
The infomercial was presented to the convention delegates from various colleges, universities and medical centers of the country. PPTA President Mr. Napoleon Cabrera and Organizing Committee Chairperson Ms. Maria Elizabeth Grageda presented the certificate of recognition and cash prize to the winners.
